Common areas with high standards.
It is the solutions, material choices, craftsmanship, and aesthetics that elevate Breidablikk to a higher level. The quality is consistent, which naturally includes the many well-thought-out common areas.
You feel it already in the reception area, where soft, motion-activated lighting brings life to rustic brick walls and sleek, tiled floors. It's neat and pleasant with comfortable chairs and a café table, a small meeting place where you can take a break or check your phone after the trip.
All doors are automatic, and on the ground floor, they lead into the heated garage; each apartment has its dedicated space where charging points can be installed. Here you'll also find a ski prep area with some equipment and ventilation, ensuring good glide enhances your experience as you set out on the trail (the ski track starts 75m from the front door).
On the building's first floor, you'll find the apartments' external storage spaces, the sports lockers measuring about 6 sqm. The same floor houses the building's technical room.
The apartments are located on floors 2-5, where corridors feature zone-divided motion sensors; limiting power consumption is an example of sustainability while also helping to keep expenses down.
The rooftop terrace on the 6th floor may be Geilo's finest, also serving as a social gathering point. And we haven’t even mentioned the view over the mountains and plains, Ustedalsvatnet, and Geilo center. Bring blankets and pelts for a cozy winter or Easter experience at the top, or find lighter clothing for the warmest summer days.
